What is a dark garment? Basically any garment that is dyed a color that overpowers the ink printed on it. This is every color except white, light grey and some pastel colors like light blue, yellow and wasabi.
Dark garments generally require a white layer of ink under all of the other colors so that those colors come out bright and opaque. If we do not first print an “underbase” your print with look a bit washed-out and you will be able to see the shirt color through it. This looks good for many prints but if you want solid bright colors then you will need to pay for an additional screen and print charge.
